dc.description.abstract“The Highwall Lighthouse and Other Stories” includes the title story, as well as four other short stories, “The Walk to the Lighthouse,” “Sea of Glass,” “The Siren Show,” and “On Becoming the Sky and Sea”. Readers have described these stories as modern fairytales. Each story is composed of a surreal landscape and a cast of characters subjected to the strange happenings of the uniquely imagined realities, happenings that ultimately force the narrators to expose their darkest self, or the darkest self of another.en_US
