|dc.description.abstract||First Paragraph: | The American Association for the Advancement of Science held its sixty-fifth annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, from December 29, 1913, to January 3, 1914. The Astronomical and Astrophysical Society of America, as well as about two dozen other affiliated societies took the opportunity to hold meetings at the same time in the same city. Being a member of the two named societies, it was my privilege to be present at the gathering.||en_US|
