    Abstract
    Synopsis:

Evidence supports the development of effective communication and collaboration among the health care team to improve patient safety and ultimately improve patient outcomes. Creating a relevant simulation that engages two or more disciplines and mimics a real-life scenario can be a challenge. This simulated pediatric asthma exacerbation case did increase student levels of stress but also allowed both PA and Accelerated BSN students, to practice and retain clinical skills and communication in a more meaningful way.
