This is a quality improvement project to attain information comparing having a group for postpartum women in person versus on a videoconference platform for a postpartum support group. Previously, a postpartum support group has been offered to women in person. The purpose is to conduct a similar group on a videoconference platform. The aim of this quality improvement project is to obtain subjective feedback from the therapist that conducted both the in-person and virtual group to detail the differences between running the group in person compared to online. There will also be questions about conducting a closed versus open group format. She can also give her perspective on group participation, attrition and overall success of the group comparing the two methods of offering the group. To obtain data, a semi structured interview survey was conducted using a survey created for this purpose after each four-week session. Results found included that attendance was comparable between all of the formats and that it was incongruent with interest. Interest in the group was present, but attendance was low. Feedback the therapist received from the women in regards to the group was overall positive. Discussion examines potential reasons for low attendance, future plans for the group and future implications.en_US
