In his first collection of poetry, Matthew Alan Argotsinger explores the world of predawn blue collar bagel baking, along with all the aftereffects that such a life causes. Unafraid to be lyrical and expressing a rich love of metaphor, Argotsinger explores his own identity as that of a work horse and how it has come to change him over the years. Also included is the shorts story 'Mandala' about a particularly eventful morning at the bagel bakery involving a stabbing, police officers and a near-sacred pile of vomit.en_US
