Carlson Fable Collections

Introduction:
One of Fr. Greg Carlson's passions is fables. Fables often use animals to move us from awareness to attitude. A fable invites the listener to become more aware of himself/herself. Fr. Carlson has been collecting fables for over thirty years.
Now the Carlson Fable Collection includes over 10,000 books and 4000 fable related objects, titled "Aesop's Artifacts" here. This may be the largest -- perhaps the only -- online collection of fable related objects. There are segments of stories to read and over 3500 images to see! Enjoy your stay and come back soon!
Listen to Fr. Carlson discuss fables:
- Faith and Fables - Fr Carlson discusses his interest in fables and their application to the Christian life. (20 minute interview)
- Ignatius, Jesus, and Aesop - a discussion between Fr. Larry Gillick, S.J. and Fr. Gregory Carlson, S.J. (3 talks of approx 35 minutes each)
The opinions expressed on this web site are the personal views of Gregory I. Carlson, S.J., and are not those of the Society of Jesus.
