dc.description.abstract | I am having difficulty locating this lovely book in Bodemann. The two parts are bound together here, and pagination starts over for the second part. Each fable has a fine small engraving about 2½ x 2. I consider this book one of the treasures in the collection for two reasons. First, each of the fables is illustrated. Secondly, the book is in good condition. A sign of this edition is that the FABLE PREMIERE before the first fable is broken into an upper and lower part. A particular feature of this copy is that there is a tear involving neither text nor picture on 27 of the first part. I can find no T of C but there is an AI at the end of the second part. A lively little (4 x 6½) treasure! | en_US |
