Here is an extra copy of this book. It reverses the order of the introduction and T of C and adds advertisements at the back. Front endpaper is missing and the spine is loose. Standard except for the illustration and event finishing the FG on 10: the grapes smile and laugh! The Bull and the Gnat becomes The Horse and the Fly. Helpful introduction: both boys and girls like Aesop; fables with their dialogue invite kids' expression. The same author and publisher reproduce the first nine of these thirty-three stories in 1894 as one of four Aesop volumes for $.05 apiece. I mistook this volume for that one. A real find in good condition! Note the distinctly different way of punctuating interrupted quotations.
