Here is a third copy of this book represented in the collection by copies with blue and red covers. This extra copy lacks the frontispiece and title-page. Reprinted from the London Tract Society. There is nothing from Aesop here, and I would urge that it affects the quality of the book. The fables are long and preachy and not very imaginative. There are a half-dozen illustrations of varying quality. By the way, the second title on the primary two books is Fables for the Young Folks. The frontispiece and third title is Original Fables. The book's spine has only Fables. Here is some source of confusion, especially in a book lacking its frontispiece and title-page!
