Here is an extra copy whose spine is weakening. The eight colored illustrations tipped-in on heavier colored paper--not necessarily adjacent to their texts--are the chief attraction of this book. See La Fontaine's Fables: A Selection from Nelson in 1905 for larger versions of these illustrations. It was a big detective-like coup for me to identify this source! As in that book, the fox weeps over the stork's return-joke (16). Several of the illustrations here are decidedly narrower than the book's page. Forty-eight fables done into prose.
