Here is an extra copy with a dust-jacket. A find at last! The selection of fables is good. The fables are fun here. I like especially those that are brief. Roche puts the moral first in each case. There is a good introduction on the history of the manuscript tradition and on the life of Aesop. I find the illustrations poor. Probably a helpful source for up-the-middle morals. One good example would be The Fly and the Broth (31).en_US
