This volume is presented for the purpose of acquainting those interested in the Community of Religious, known as Sisters of the Most Precious Blood, with a history of their schools in the state of Missouri. An earnest effort has been made to trace, as accurately as possible, the history of these schools from their poor, often unpromising beginnings, through their gradual development up to their present day rank amond(sp) kindred schools of the state. Since no such history has previously been published by said Community, it supplies, in a certain sense, a long felt need.en_US
