dc.description.abstract"Child-caring institutions" is a broad term. So is "educational practices". Everything that happens to a child, everything he does, leaves an impression on him and thus educates him. Hence, literally, everything is included in "educational practices," and in this work, there will be no attempt to limit the term. Also, in this study "child-caring institutions" include all those institutions that take the place of parents and home to the child, but pertains specifically to those conducted under Catholic auspices.en_US
